Retro Cafe Art and Relics and Artifacts for some SPOOKY times

My favorite time of the year: HALLOWEEN!
Fright Night!

Repurposed shadowbox antiqued with Verday paint. Relics and Artifacts face from the Visage collection and the wing(top right) from Rising Spirit II.

Coffin, ATC tombstones, bats, web and spiders from Retro Cafe Art.

Retro Cafe Art ATC tombstone, black gesso and a stencil. The bright yellow under the bat wings is gel medium mixed with glow in the dark powder.

This back was done with a Halloween themed napkin and Mod Podge.

This hand was hiding in the bottom of a bin at Michaels. It was white resin. Ahh the magic of alcohol inks made it come to life! BUAHAHAHAHA!

The glow in the dark doing its magic.

Behind the scenes:

White gesso on the hand, for a better grip!

Prima Artisan Powder

Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol inks in shades of browns then covered with Crackle Accents.

Glaze to seal all the beauty forever!

A little fuzzy here. LOL! Sorry guys. Metal tape on the inner frame.

Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol inks for distressing the metal tape.

Verday paint doing it's thing(oxidizing) on the wood frame.

Verday paint on everything! Except the top right: back of the frame decoupaged with a halloween napkin and Mod Podge.

Gathering the details for this shadowbox:ATC graveyard tombstones, decorative papers, mini figurines.

Retro Art Cafe coffin assembled with E6000.

This is a piece of ribbon cut to fit the inside of the coffin.

I distressed this skeleton figurine, he looked to clean before. I cut a piece of lace that had a web design and covered the lid.

Retro Cafe Art fence and decorative paper.

Decorative paper

Black gesso and a stencil design using gold acrylic paint.

Back of the ATC tombstone with sticker paper.

Doing the happy dance Bones A Clacking!

I added a mix of gel medium and glow in the dark yellow powder under the wings and made two beady eyes.

The other tombstone ATC assembled.

Detailing the graveyards with textured gel.

Veryday paint on the Relics and Artifacts wing.

Detailed picture of the findings I put in the shadowbox.

I glued moss underneath the hand.

I hope you enjoyed it!
